Emmanuel Communications was fortunate enough to have a station launch for 1230AM Emmanuel Radio this past Sunday, September 25, 2011. After much preparation, we are happy to say that the event went extremely well. God blessed this event with not only great weather, but a great turn out as well.
The day started with Bishop McManus celebrating Mass in the Cathedral of Saint Paul in downtown Worcester, and he blessed Emmanuel Communications Radio Ministry directly after. Guests were then welcome to join us in the Cenacle for a reception featuring Scot Landry, Secretary for Catholic Media, Archdiocese of Boston, as our guest speaker with an introduction by Francesco Cesareo, President of Assumption College. Following the speakers, guests were invited to take a tour of the station to see where everything takes place. Many took the opportunity, and were able to ask any questions they had about the Catholic radio and the inner workings of our station.
Thank you to everyone who helped us make this event possible, we are truly grateful for its success and feel blessed that we had the chance to share in the launch of the station with so many people.
