Lafayette College, a NCAA Division I and Patriot League member with 23 varsity sports, offers an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated and collaborative individual to become a part of an energetic athletic team.

Responsibilities
This position will manage the business and fiscal operations of the Athletics Department in all aspects including oversight of budget management and financial reporting for all Athletic Department accounts. This position will also be charged with developing and implementing policies and procedures for the operation of an efficient and effective business affairs unit, which is in compliance with institutional, conference and NCAA rules and regulations.

The incumbent will work with administrators and coaches on the management of current budgets, long range financial planning and human resource functions for the department. Manage the development, oversight, and reconciliation of all athletic department and related budgets. Oversee team travel, procurement, payment of invoices for goods and services, and process travel reimbursement and advances. Prepare monthly financial and statistical reports for distribution to coaches and staff, as well as annual Department of Education (EADA) reports and the NCAA financial report. Supervise the Athletic Ticket Office and Equipment Services. Act as liaison with Finance and Administration Division of the College. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics or Associate Director of Athletics. Due to the nature of contemporary student development and responsibilities, work schedules differ from and exceed typical campus business hours. This position may require a campus presence for an extraordinary or extended period of time for events.

Requirements
? Bachelor?s degree (Master?s preferred) in business administration, accounting, or related field
? Demonstrated record of three to five years of successful budget development/management experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable skills and abilities can be acquired, experience with intercollegiate athletics administration preferred
? Knowledge of computerized accounting systems as well as Microsoft Office applications
? Experience with bidding, procurement and inventory management
? Strong service orientation and ability to relate effectively with diverse individuals and groups at all levels of an organization; ability to work independently with mature judgment, communication and discretion in a dead-line oriented environment
? Position requires evening and weekend hours. A criminal background check is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment.

Salary
The position is a full-time (12 months) appointment with a salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
