Cowley College hosts winter baseball camps for area youths

With the addition of the new Travis Hafner Training Center, the Cowley College baseball coaches recently conducted a winter camp and baseball showcase for 70 area athletes.

Youngsters ages 8-12 took part in the winter camp on Dec. 28, while those ages 13-18 met Dec. 29.

The camp provided instruction in all aspects of the game, including hitting, fielding, pitching, catching, base running and strategy.
