As a member of the Product Development Team, the Project Manager is responsible for managing concurrent projects involving cross-functional and cross-departmental teams that involve strategic objectives across the organization. The incumbent will oversee various, projects of a complex nature and is responsible for driving accountability in all phases (from analysis through implementation) of a project lifecycle. The incumbent must be familiar with the scope and project objectives; the role and function of each team member; and a solid understanding of the systems in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the project(s). Responsibilities Include: ?Drive the definition of project scope and objectives ?Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. ?Assemble project teams, assigning individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects. ?Maintains direct contact with business personnel, service partners, software vendors, and/or designated areas affected by the project(s). ?Ensures adherence to quality standards and service levels to meet the acceptance criteria. ?Applies project controls (such as Change Management, Risk Management) to manage scope. ?Takes action to proactively remove project roadblocks and actively directs the resolution. ?Manages the communication with Project Stakeholders, officers, and/or technology manager(s), regarding status of specific projects.
Activities Include: Create Project documentation and acceptance criteria. Create and maintain the project schedule that details the necessary tasks and their status for all stages of the development effort Collaborate with the development and business teams to prioritize features and defect remediation for a release Collaborate with the development team to create a Milestone Release Development Plan Collaborate with the software Q/A team to create a test plan Collaborate with the Customer & IT Services to develop a software release plan Work with product development to clarify ambiguities in the technical requirements and remediate any obstacles to the project success Coordinate cross departmentally to ensure that the appropriate resources are being applied Various administrative activities assigned by senior management as needed

Excellent Communication (oral and written) Skills At least six years experience and demonstrated success managing multiple project implementations. At least six years experience creating and maintaining software development schedules At least six years experience authoring and maintaining technical requirement documents Experience coordinating resources across multiple development groups Experience working under tight deadlines Full SDLC experience Project Manager Certification (PMP, Prince2) or the ability to obtain certification within six months of job placement Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration or Computer Science or related field is desired Thorough understanding of software development methodologies Experience working in a fast paced environment
