Senior Pastor in Long Beach, California

INTRODUCTION

Bethany Church seeks to be a community of followers of Jesus who love God, love others, live missionally, and help others do the same. We are a large, multi-aged, culturally diverse congregation who honor both traditional and contemporary Sunday worship services as well as adult fellowship groups, small groups, and youth ministries.
Bethany has been serving the community of Long Beach, California for over 100 years, and seeks to be a beacon of God's grace locally and globally. We partner with many Christian organizations nearby and around the world to share the love of God by meeting the spiritual and physical needs of many.
As a member of the Conservative Baptist Association, Bethany Church believes in the autonomy of the local church and its fellowship with other churches of similar faith and practice. We believe in the preeminence of Jesus Christ as our living Lord and Savior, and we uphold the supreme authority of the Scriptures.
We are seeking a full-time Senior Pastor who will prayerfully and boldly teach from the Word of God, while shepherding and leading the congregation to grow in spiritual maturity as disciples of Jesus Christ. For consideration, please send a cover letter and resume along with a doctrinal statement to the Pulpit Committee Chairman, Steve Huntsinger by email to bclb@bethanylb.org.
